As part of our commitment to the community, Silvans is pleased to announce we will be hosting our own Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event. We’re opening our doors and putting the kettle on to raise vital funds for the Cancer Council, contributing to their work in research, prevention programs, and essential support services.
A Nationwide Tradition of Support:
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea has become a well-established national tradition. Each year, thousands of morning teas are hosted in homes, offices, and community centres across the country.
These gatherings unite Australians with a common purpose: to make a tangible difference in the fight against cancer. Since its inception in 1994, this initiative has grown into one of Australia’s key fundraising events, raising millions to help those affected by cancer.

Join us at The Ninth Ave, Western Avenue, Westmeadows VIC on Thursday, 22 May 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am as we come together for this fundraising event. With almost 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, initiatives like Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea are crucial in funding the work needed to change these statistics.
